Our Specifications
At Murray Homes we like to start with one full specification where almost everything you could want is included in our starting price. From here it is each customers choice to add or remove items from the
specification based upon your individual budget.
We are not into fad driven inclusions or multiple confusing specifications each with their own unclear pricing. Instead we say "lets start with the following specification at the pricing
shown on our price list then add or remove as you choose".
You will note that we do not use PC sums* (other than for foundations). This is because at Murray Homes we offer a real fixed price for the items included and a real fixed price for the
extras or credits that you ask us to price specifically for you.
Only in this way do you really know what the final price of your building project is going to be. There are no surprises around here.... unless you want them of course!
SO!..Take a look at what we include as a starting point - we think it is superior to most other offers in the market.
*A PC sum sometimes called provisional cost or prime cost sum is a variable amount in your contract that could move up with the actual cost to the builder. This often results in nasty unexpected overruns at the end of your build. This never happens at Murray
